“Here in Canada we have none of these facilities. The demand is not large enough to force the supply. Nearly all the ready-made clothes here come from the States, and when the express and duty is added, combined with the small choice, it is scarcely worth while to buy them. Then, too, a great many of our shops do not seem to be able to get blouses and suits that are well cut, and the cut is the whole battle.””
