Canada’s emblem – the maple leaf – has come down off the flagpole and fallen into the hands of the young. These days you can see it displayed on everything from skis to bikinis.
Another fad, you say. Perhaps. The political significance, if any, we leave to greater minds.
We just think the wearing of the leaf is a pretty nice thing to see.
