TOM* Toronto Men’s Fashion Week Announces New Home and Event Details For its Fall/Winter 2017 Season
TORONTO, January 21 – Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) today announced the details for its Fall/Winter 2017 Collections taking place March 3rd, 2017 to March 8th, 2017. The fashion week will be moving to a new home this season, Waterworks located at 505 Richmond Street in downtown Toronto. The event venue will be transformed into a world-class runway space boasting a 100 feet runway, 24 x 20 feet LED screen and a fashion environment.
TOM*s official new venue can be found at the heart of the King West entertainment district. The newly renovated building maintains its historic features dating back to the mid-19th century. The raw, open space features vaulted ceilings and widespread skylights – perfect for instilling fashion excitement and creativity.
TOM* Fall/Winter 2017 will spotlight some of Canada’s top menswear designers including Hendrixroe, Kollar Clothing, Xian, Hip and Bone, Zane Barlas, Labelle, Shelli Oh, North Aware and many more. TOM*s 2016 EMDA winner, Curtis Oland, will also preview his F/W 17 collections as a stand-alone prime time presentation for the first time on the TOM* runway.
This season’s campaign photos will give audiences a glimpse of the designers’ collections. With hair and grooming by TOM* hair sponsor American Crew, the TOM* F/W 2017 image campaign (print, video and web) revolve around the art installations of renowned Toronto-based artist, Zan Rococo, known for her provocative and rule-bending artwork. The campaign highlights the synergy between art and fashion setting the tone for the TOM* fashion week ahead.

Signatures events during the week include MensFashion4Hope and the return of TOM*s exclusive VIP Runway Dinner. MensFashion4Hope will continue to leverage Canadian celebrity star power to raise funds and awareness for the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) through the Kol Hope Foundation for Children. TOM* has once again partnered with leading menswear clothing store, GOTSTYLE(TM), for the stylish and crowd-pleasing runway show. The official TOM* VIP Runway Dinner, taking place the Sunday before runway shows begin, will bring together Canada’s fashion elite including advisory board members of Canada Fashion Group, from Harry Rosen to Jeanne Beker to TIFF Co-Founder Henk Van der Kolk.

Tickets for TOM* Fall/Winter 2017 will be available on February 1st, 2017.
